The terms that govern your use of TraitLoadout and The Player Profile.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the TraitLoadout website (traitloadout.com) and The Player Profile assessment (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing the website, taking the assessment, or purchasing the report, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
TraitLoadout is operated by an Australian individual sole trader. References to “we,” “us,” or “TraitLoadout” mean that operator. References to “you” mean any user of the Service.
TraitLoadout provides a self-administered psychometric assessment (“The Player Profile”) consisting of:
The Service is offered for personal, educational, and entertainment purposes. The report is not a medical, psychological, psychiatric, or clinical diagnostic instrument and must not be used as such. It is not a substitute for professional advice in any field — career, mental health, medical, legal, or otherwise.
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you must have a parent or guardian’s consent. By using the Service you represent that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate.
The Service does not require an account in the traditional sense. Your email address acts as your reference for delivering the report.
Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy and the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). The ACL guarantees that the Service is of acceptable quality, fit for its disclosed purpose, and as described. These guarantees cannot be excluded, restricted, or modified by these Terms.
All content of the Service — including but not limited to the questionnaire, the archetype framework, the report template, the visual design, the underlying instrument, the brand marks “TraitLoadout” and “The Player Profile,” and all associated text and graphics — is owned by TraitLoadout or its licensors and is protected by Australian and international copyright and trademark law.
When you purchase the report, you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual licence to:

To the maximum extent permitted by law and subject to the Australian Consumer Law guarantees described above, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant that:
The report is a self-reflection tool. Decisions about your career, relationships, mental health, education, or any other significant life area should always involve appropriate professional advice and your own considered judgement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total cumulative liability arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim — typically A$24 or less.
We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or loss of opportunity, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded by law, including under the Australian Consumer Law.
You agree to indemnify and hold TraitLoadout harmless from any claim, loss, or liability (including reasonable legal costs) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of any third-party rights.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms. We may also discontinue the Service entirely with reasonable notice. If we discontinue, you remain entitled to your delivered report.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes affecting paying customers will be communicated by email.
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any dispute arising under these Terms is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales, Australia, save that nothing in these Terms restricts your rights as a consumer under Australian Consumer Law to bring proceedings in your local jurisdiction.
